Leader and the highest paid of the Autobots, Optimus Price, has said that he and his fellow actors are reconsidering their proposed holiday to Sri Lanka following the recent news of mysteriously exploding transformers in the country.
Mr Prime, who became a multi-millionaire following his starring role in the Transformers movie franchise, made a statement on Facebook saying, “I was looking forward to a relaxing holiday in Sri Lanka this April following a heavy filming schedule for the next film in the series which is due out next year. We were planning on mainly visiting the hill country and a couple of national parks but definitely avoiding the seaside due to likelihood we will rust and the current sunscreen products don’t have rust prevention. However, we were recently informed that a number of transformers have exploded under mysterious circumstances. As such we believe it is in our best interests not to go there, and may have to head to a country where there are fewer power fluctuations.”
“We were told that as Transformers, we would be assigned military personnel for our protection as there were rumours of sabotage, but it still does not instill us with confidence as we fear the Deceptions, led my Mahinda may be behind this. We need to be a place of complete relaxation after the exhausting schedule and stunts that Michael Bay got us to perform over the last few months. We don’t know why he doesn’t use CGI.”
In a related story, Michael Bay said that he is considering visiting the country as while he generally shuns relaxing holidays, the current series of explosions could inspire him for his next film assignment, despite rumours that it is a love story.
