Jobless People Now Worried That Duminda will Join Them

DSilvaSeveral jobless people who congregated outside the UPFA headquarters last night in a failed attempt to demand the party give the Former MP a nomination in the upcoming elections, are now concerned that he will end up spending more time with them.

The crowd were visibly upset, but not up in arms, when they heard that the former MP would likely be an unemployed member of the Kolonnawa community despite several monks also attending the gathering to pray that this tragedy does not befall the population of the area.

A spokesman who led the rally said “We are demanding that the party give him a nomination. If he is in Parliament he will cause less danger to the community and we don’t want him roaming our streets. It would have been better for him to get a nomination and leave us alone. He’s been distributing a lot of things in the community – mostly by the gram… sorry I meant mostly gram”
