Americans Concerned About Lankans Getting So Worked Up About US Election Ask Them To Calm Down

useA number of Americans have shown concern about the growing unrest amongst Sri Lankans following the US Presidential Election, which took place over 9300 miles and 12-hour time zone away from the island nation.

A number of Sri Lankans have been venting either farcical joy at Trump’s victory or furious frustration at Clinton’s loss, which has not abated despite the result being announced a week ago. One American said, “I am very worried that some Sri Lankans think that Trump was appointed as President of their country. I heard that things have got so bad keyboard replacement orders have gone through the roof. I mean we had some celebration parties for the end of the world and some protests that got a bit carried away, but it’s a crazy scenario in Sri Lanka.”

Former President Mahinda Rajapakse said, “Even I feel sorry for Trump. Despite the vitriol directed at me, for good reason, it’s nothing like what Trump is receiving from some of the Lankans. Of course, we share some common traits like side-lining minorities, nepotism, fact altering and, of course, we both have connections to Miss Universe. So I can’t understand why people don’t like him.”

Meanwhile, the US Based Alt-right group have broken out in hysteria after receiving an affiliation application from a recently constituted Sri Lanka Alt-right group, on having seen the pictures of their members. The chief racist of the US group said “I definitely hope these guys have taken their profile pictures straight after standing in the sun for 24 hours, cause otherwise, ha ha ha…..this is Alt-wrong”
