Darth Vader Refuses To Join Shadow Cabinet Citing Extremely Dark Forces Amongst His Colleagues

dvEvil overlord Darth Vader said that he has turned down the offer an invitation to join the Shadow Cabinet after sensing evil forces in operation amongst his colleagues that were so strong, he had to question his own morals and ethics.

Speaking with heavy breathing, Mr. Vader said, “A received a letter from a Mr Rajapakse, who claimed to be a former president with a dark temperament, to join his shadow cabinet which sounded an interesting proposition as it had very dark connotations and appealed to my soul. I did a background check on the former President and it seems like he is the calibre of person that the Empire could benefit from considering his skills in the channelling his dark side.”

“However after conducting further due diligence on other members of the cabinet it became apparent that there are some extremely sinister forces in operation. Some real shady characters including Gammanpillai and Weerawansa are featured and they have more evil in their little finger than I do in my heavy breath. I can’t work  with the likes of them. It will give me really bad name.”

Mr Rajapakse said, “It’s a shame he didn’t accept our invitation; he would have been a great addition to our mission to concentrate evil forces. We already have forces including corruption, nepotism, thuggery amongst the ranks but we would have liked a spokesman to make our evil proclamations. We are now thinking of approaching Bane.”
