After a recent spate of high profile former government officials falling ill, the current government has declared the Financial Criminal Investigation Division (FCID) as a national health risk. Citing two examples, one where a minister formerly involved in Self Economic Development suffered a mild stroke and another minister developed breathing problems, people are being asked to keep their financial affairs in order to minimise the risk to exposure.
Issuing the advisory, the Department of Health as advised anyone who comes in to contact with the FCID to report to a doctor immediately. Those most susceptible to contagion are members of the former government who had displayed side effects of excessive wealth. Work is already underway for a vaccine which has working name ‘Yahapalanaya’
