Inspired By ‘Brexit’ SL Considering Withdrawing From SAARC Under Campaign Titled ‘SLEAVE’

saarc23Following the mind-boggling news that a country that invaded and planted themselves in other countries for decades has decided that it doesn’t want any people planting themselves in their own nation, the Sri Lanka Government are considering embarking on their own exit campaign to leave SAARC under a campaign titled ‘SLEAVE’.

Speaking at a press conference this morning, a spokesperson for the government said, “SAARC has done nothing for us. We still can’t get around without visas. Only thing is that some politicians get to host or go to a conference every couple of years and have a paka spread. We think it is high time we pulled out. It could be a sticky situation if we continue to remain. So instead of ‘Brexiting’, we are going to ‘Sleave’”

“We believe the SLEAVE campaign will resonate with people as unlike America, we are against the right to bear arms. We understand that opposition to this campaign has also begun under the campaign SLEAVE-LESS, but they are exposing themselves from both the right and the left,” he added.

Meanwhile, Ignorance and Smugness have overnight replaced Chicken Tikka Masala as the national dish of Britain.
