People Who Don’t Know Any Lyrics Upset That Hummed Version Of The National Anthem Was Not Hummed

HISeveral people who have never learned the lyrics to a single song or poem and thus unable to sing the national anthem in any language were up in arms this afternoon after hoping that a hummed version would be added to today’s Independence Day proceedings so that they could join in.

One person, who failed to pick up the words to lyrically simple tunes like Beyonce’s ‘All The Single Ladies’ and ‘Around The World’ By Daft Punk said “While I am glad the National Anthem was sung in two languages, I have an issue learning lyrics so couldn’t join in on either version. It’s called Cantsignatitis. So I was expecting one more version which the school children hummed so I too could join in, but was disappointed that it was not performed. Maybe the children found it hard to learn the a hummed version.”

“I am a citizen of the world and can hum the national anthem of several countries and I don’t care what language they are actually sung in.” he added.

Meanwhile, some members of the Burgher community have complained that they National Anthem should have been sung in Burgher as they too missed out. “What for the telling” said one Burgher lady.
