Former President Mahinda Rajapakse has said that his experience in toppling his own Government will serve him well when he decides to topple the current Government.
Speaking at a press conference, Mr Rajapakse said, “It took a lot of effort for me to topple the previous regime which I was head of. I had to make that we committed enough corruption, caused unrest and stoked racial tensions amongst other things. I also had to behave like a dictator and make sure nepotism was rife. All these things weren’t easy to do but I persevered and made sure of the downfall. Up to the point where I even believed my astrologer.”
“As such, I have learned a lot of lessons about toppling which I will employ when I begin the campaign to topple the current Government. It will be very easy to dismantle them especially as they have some very strong weak points. I have also employed the help of some people who helped me topple the former Govt including Wimal but he still seems to flailing all over the place,” he added.
