CITRUS is Sour

The senior director of a Citrus fruit who owns plantations in Waskaduwa and Hikkaduwa has had to endure a sour note as a result of financial irregularities. The director, who also dabbles as a DJ and advertising big wig, was questioned by several authorities regarding a series of transactions including why the plantation promised to be erected by the farmer in Kalpitiya as stated in 2011, has still not seen a single tree being planted and is laying waste.

Commenting on the allegation the director said “I have only one motto when it comes to business: When life gives you lemons, break them in to shares, float it on the CSE, sell to naïve parties at a high price and then with money you receive, make Lemonade.”
