Pedestrians Asked To Stay At Home As Decision To Make Roads Safer Today Called Off

busThe Government has issued a warning to all pedestrians asking them to remain at home today after a last-minute decision by Private Bus Owners to strike was called off late last night.

The private bus drivers had intended to striking in protest of having to follow the road rules, which they have historically chose to ignore. President of the Death Wish Society said, “We are concerned that the Government has decided to increase the minimum fine levied for breaking road rules. So far it has cost us nothing to cause mayhem on the streets of the country but now we are being charged more. I don’t why the government thinks that this will be a deterrence as if knocking down people doesn’t phase us, why would a fine?.”

“If anyone has watched the movie Speed, you would know that actually going faster may help save someone’s life. Of course, that has never happened in real life but there is a possibility. Road rules only exist so that drivers can pass an exam, not to be actually followed,” he added.
