Department Of Prisons Release Two New Posters As Part Of Campaign To Counter Propaganda

Prison CompoThe Department of Prisons has sought to correct the false propaganda being touted by two leading political figures by issuing two amended versions of posters alluding to their imminent arrests.

A spokesperson for the Department said, “We initially saw the poster saying that that the Prime Minister was not scared. He’s not just scared though, he is absolutely petrified after realising that the trail from the bond scandal could lead all the way to the top. While some people lauded his decision to appear in front of a bond commission, there is little discussion about the fact that he should not have appeared before it if he had nothing to do with it in the first place. Anyway, we have corrected the posted to indicate that not only is he not scared but he is also not eligible for bail.”

“We also believe that in addition to former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa belonging to the people, he also belongs to in correctional facilities, so we wanted to include our logo on the poster. Just to be clear that it is a matter of when not if that he will join the Department of Prisons, although not as an employee,” the spokesperson added.
