An EPF informant who provided information to Perpetual Treasuries has expressed outrage after hearing that he was referred to by the codename ‘Car’, whereas his colleagues had much cooler operator names including ‘Charlie’ and ‘Tango’.
Wishing to remain anonymous, the informant said, “I didn’t take bribes and leak information to be known by the name ‘Car’. They obviously gave the good names to someone else and then left me with the scraps. You don’t have to be a creative genius to come up with something better than ‘Car’. Why did my colleagues get the much more intriguing names from the phonetic alphabet like Charlie and Tango? We were all getting paid the same.”
“This is like when Quentin Tarantino was the given the name Mr Brown. He kicked up a right old fuss about it. That’s exactly how I feel. I am so incensed I might just go ahead and leak all the information I have about the dodgy deals,” he added.
